I'm finally sharing with you guys #themoraleshome family room! I'm so excited to be posting about this, the family room in our home is very important to me. I feel that the family room is the heart of the home. Why? well if you think about it, it is where everyone sits and spends time with one another! At least that's the way it was for me growing up. Everyone would gather to talk, watch a movie and just make memories! Today I will be sharing my family room decorations and set up. My goal was to make my family room comfy and cozy! I hope this posts inspires you guys and helps you get ideas!
I like to keep the couch simple and not to many pillows! Just enough to make it easy and cozy to sit down lol. I love these because they are huge, super soft and a great quality! Did you notice how we part them in the middle? lol that's thanks to all of the HGTV we watch :P it adds a little something extra to the pillows! The throw is also very soft and comes in handy when watching movies! Even though I have my favorite blanket...that's velvet from home goods! (it's so soft!)
Our entertainment console was designed by us in Ikea. Shout out to the hubby for building the whole thing! We wanted something modern looking and white. The top serves as storage for extra blankets and pillows for movie nights! The bottom ones store all of our movies, if you want to see part of our movie collection click here.
