MORALES HOME: CHRISTMAS 2014

December 06, 2014

We are so ready for the holidays in the Morales home! However, this year is extra special since it will be our first Christmas in our first home. George and I were very excited to start decorating and are so happy we are finally done. Everything came out so cute and looks so festive, Christmas is our favorite holiday so we really get into it lol. Besides that, one of our traditions is to listen to Christmas music while we decorate. My absolute favorite Christmas song is of course "All I want for Christmas is you" by Mariah Carey. That song seriously puts me in the best mood and makes decorating that much more fun!

For our tree this year we decided to go with a light blue, silver and white! Our tree came out so pretty, elegant and sparkly!! Our tree is 7.5 feet tall, artificial and it was purchased at Walmart for a great price, definitely check those out if you are interested in an artificial tree. I know it's not everybody's cup of tea since it doesn't have the Christmas tree smell but I have a solution for that lol. All you have to do is buy a Christmas tree scented candle, our favorite is fresh balsm from Bath and body works!

       So here is how the Morales' do Christmas decorations!

My favorite ornament this year is our Disney Christmas ornament that says "Our Christmas Together". George and I purchased that ornament three years ago on our first trip to Disney alone. Since we both love Christmas so much we made a promise to each other, we said that we would not hang the ornament until we have a place of our own. Three years later we can finally hang it up and we couldn't be any happier and prouder!

 Growing up I remember always having a train around the tree, so this year we purchased the cutest Disney train and I could not be more obsessed with it! My sister-in-law also purchased one, she just had a baby so this holiday season we are focused on starting new traditions in our new homes with the growing family. We are very family oriented so that is important for us specially that the babies are coming into the picture lol (;

The wreath on our door was made by me. I'm so proud of how it came out and I love the colors! If you guys want to see how I made my wreath check out my previous post in the home and decor tab.
