ALL ABOUT MY HAIR CARE

July 23, 2014

Hello Ladies! So I decided to do a post about the products I use on my hair as well as the tools I use to style it. For those of you who don't know, I have natural curly hair and my hair color is naturally dark brown. I always blow dry my hair...except on those lazy days lol when I let the beast come out...lol  >.< Any who I wash and blow dry my hair every 3 days, I don't have oily hair so my hair lasts that long but sometimes I tend to use a dry shampoo when I need that extra Oomph!

Shampoo & Conditioner:
I always tend to change them up once in a while so I don't really stick to one. However I always make sure I get a shampoo that hydrates and helps with split ends. I tend to reach for the brands Pantene or Herbal Essence they smell so yummy!

Leave in treatment:
My sister in law introduced me to this Pravana leave in therapy spray. I really really like it, I apply it to the ends of  my hair after I wash it to help me while I brush it. This really make my hair easier to untangle and it makes it soft. So thank you sis!

Heat Protection Spray:
I have been using a heat protection spray for the longest time now! For those of you who don't know what this is for or aren't familiar with this product it's to help protect your hair from the heat of a blow dryer, iron or curling wand etc. You can apply it to damp or dry hair concentrating on your ends. I always use it before I blow dry it truly helps and your ends will truly appreciate it lol! My favorite one is the TRESemme it leaves my hair shiny and soft! I def recommend this product!

Therapy Oil:
I love this product & it smells ahhh-mazing! The bottle is small and a bit pricey about $13 BUT a little goes a long way! Remember its oil so no need to put on a lot, this is another leave in treatment that helps make your hair shiny, soft and helps protect it from humidity or any weather condition. I only apply a small dab on my hands and mix it in my hands and apply it on my ends. I don't apply it in the top of my head to avoid making it look oily.
Dry Shampoo:
Thank God for dry shampoo lol it's seriously a life saver & in my case a time saver! I have a lot of hair so it takes me about 35-40 minutes to blow dry it. So on days that I don't have time and need a pick me up dry shampoo really helps. When I first heard of this product It sounded funny to me but little did I know I would love it. I use the brand Batiste in the original scent, they have many to choose from but I like to keep it simple. Basically you spray this on your roots and wait a minute then massage your head with the tips of your fingers and then brush it. I swear it really works!!! My hair does not look oily at all and it looks fresh! Definitely a must have!

Styling Tools:
This is the iron & blow dryer I use, I purchased them here this website is amazing & they always have special deals! I have had these two for about 4 years and they still work like they did when I first got them.

Well that's pretty much it for my hair care, OH & before I forget I purchase all of my products at Walgreens fyi!

Have any of you tried these products? What are your must have products? Let me know what you think.

xo, Kim
