Hey guys! I know I've been super MIA, but it's been for a good reason lol. I have a HUGE and amazing life update! George and I are expecting our first baby! We couldn't be any more happier to be entering this new chapter in our lives.
SURPRISE!!!! For those of you who don't know, I'm currently 17 weeks pregnant and feeling amazing! My first trimester was good, luckily I did not get any morning sickness. All I've really been feeling is tired all the time (which is why I've been so lost) and I'm always hungry hahaha. This past weekend we had our gender reveal and have decided to finally share this special news with you all. Of course our family and closest friends new we were expecting, we announced it to them on Christmas Day (I will post pictures below).
I found out I was pregnant back in November, I was 4 weeks along when I took a pregnancy test. Honestly, what gave me away was the fact that I was so tired and sleepy. If you know me, you know that I'm not the type of person to take a nap or be sleepy all the time. I thought I was going to get a cold or something. It turns out that it was not a cold, it was in fact a beautiful baby growing inside of me lol. My husband was the one that was suspicious of me being pregnant, he suggested I take a pregnancy test to confirm. Oh boy....was he right lol! George and I were planning to get pregnant, however we decided to leave it in God's hands and knew it would happen when it needed to and it did. We realize this is a huge blessing and we feel honored to be having this baby.
When we found out we were both so happy, nervous and seriously had a mix of emotions! I started crying and George started laughing! Talk about a mix of emotions! We both love kids and could not believe we were going to have one of our own. This whole journey has been amazing so far and we can't wait to see what the future holds!
As I mentioned, our gender reveal was last Saturday. I had my ultra sound on Friday morning and no one knew what baby Morales was!! Everyone was super anxious and excited to find out. Everyone guessed girl, we had some people saying boy, but mostly everyone went with girl lol. George and I didn't care for the sex, we just want a healthy baby! However, for fun we both guessed boy lol and oh BOY were we wrong hahaha! Below is a video George put together showing everyones reaction, I also wanted to share some pictures with you all.
