Now that Thanksgiving is over, it's time for the Morales' to decorate for our favorite holiday! George and I are HUGE Christmas freaks. We love this time of year, we love decorating our home and of course the Christmas music. As a child this time of year was always so special to me, it's something about the whole family coming together and making memories. That's why George and I love Christmas so much, we love making memories and continuing traditions we can later share with our future children. This year we went simple with decorating for Christmas. We have lots of Christmas decoration, so every year we like to mix and match what we have. We have some stuff that is very colorful and we have some things that are more classy.
This year we decorated our tree with white, silver, light blue and champagne colored ornaments. I'm absolutely obsessed with how our tree came out! I think it looks so elegant and the touch of light blue is perfect. It really balances well with the rest of our house decorations. Our tree is artificial, which I love because it looks perfect throughout the whole Christmas season. This year, George and I sprayed our tree to make it look a little flocked. I think it turned out great, despite the fact that I was so scared to do it.
Also, you guys know all about my cute Disney train! It's our little tradition, to always have this train around the tree. I think it's super cute and I can't wait for our future kids to have fun with it! I love that it also adds a pop of color to the space. I'm not a huge fan of red, so I incorporate it here and there. Just like on my dining table with the runner and in our stockings! The buffet table decor is gold, which balances well with the tree and the canvas above. I believe it's all about balance when it comes to decorating for the holidays.
I hope you guys have fun decorating for the holidays! Let me know what you think of my Christmas decorations, I love getting your feedback. Shoutout to my amazing photographer (my hubby) for taking these pictures. If you don't already, make sure to follow him on Instagram @Photographybygeorgem
