Sparkle with Kim: MY EVERYDAY MAKEUP ROUTINE

I'm so happy to be sharing my everyday makeup routine! This look is great because you can literally do it in 10 minutes or less. This simple look is great for work, school or to run errands. To be honest I've even done this look in the car lol, since my hubby is always rushing me to get ready! So if you understand my struggle or are always on the go, this makeup routine will make it look like you took a long time getting ready. However, it will be your little secret that it took 10 minutes....but shhh lol :P

1. Start off with concealer, the age rewind from Maybelline is my all time favorite. I use a beauty blender to evenly blend it out. By simply applying concealer it already brightens your eyes, so this small step makes a huge difference. Make sure your beauty blender is damp, it makes it easier to blend your concealer. I feel this is a MUST for any makeup look!

2. I don't use a liquid foundation everyday. I use a pressed mineral foundation, this specific one has amazing coverage. I have been using this powder for about 4 years and it's still my go to after all this time! It doesn't feel heavy or cakey at all. A plus this product offers, is that it is great on sensitive skin as well. My skin type is combination, I tend to get oily on my t-zone and I'm dry on the rest of my skin. I apply this by patting it onto my face vs. swiping it across. This is a new method I have been trying and I feel that it helps me use less product and applys more evenly.

3. My GO TO bronzer and blush combo are from Benefit. I feel these look great on any skin tone and are perfect for everyday. It adds such a beautiful color to your skin with it still looking natural. The blush has a very light shimmer for the perfect glow. The Hoola bronzer is the perfect matte bronzer and blends well with the Rockateur blush! A bonus is that they each come with a brush already, so it's great for on the go.

4. To fill my eyebrows I use Anastasia of course! The brow pencil and brow gel are amazing, it achieves a natural look for your eyebrows. Don't forget to brush your eyebrows constantly to blend out all the product and make it look soft. I would say that's the most crucial step when filling in your eyebrows. Also, if you have crazy eyebrows like mine, keep them in control with the eyebrow clear gel lol. This literally helps them not move all day, thank God lol mines are out of control sometimes.

5. My ALL TIME favorite mascara is the Cover Girl lash blast. It's seriously amazing! My trick is to wiggle the wand side to side while moving it upward. This allows me to start at the root of my eyelashes and go all the way to the top. I do this until I'm satisfied with how much product I have. I apply this mascara to the top and bottom lashes. Oh and don't forget to do a million silly faces while applying it lol!

6. To line my eyes, I used MAC Smolder this liner is very pigmented and lasts all day long. Seriously the best I've ever used. I line my eyes with black, but if you want a softer look you can use MAC Engraved.

7. Lastly, I'm applying one of my favorite lip combos. I'm using the Jordan lip liner in Tawny, MAC in Midimauve for my lipstick and Cream Pie for gloss. For more lipstick options, check out my previous posts "Holygrail Lipsticks". For my top picks on everyday lipsticks.
